Our
products contain a combination of all natural butter, oils and waxes to
create the most amazing experience of moisture + flavor, all while
keeping your lips nestled in nourishment.
How
are your products made?
Our lip
balms are all handmade in small batches to ensure that quality and care
goes into everything we make.
Do
you test your products on animals?
Occasionally
one of our cats will get hold of one and use it as a hockey puck :)
besides that we absolutely do not test our products on any animals,
just ourselves, friends, family.

Do
your lip balms or lip colors contain any animal derived ingredients?
None of our products contain
any
animal derived ingredients. This includes beeswax, honey, carmine or
lanolin making our lip balms vegan friendly.
what
is the shelf life of your products?
If left
unopened, our products can last anywhere between 2-3 years. Vitamin E
and Jojoba Oil are great antioxidants and help keep our lip balms fresh
for a
long period of time. Once opened, they can last anywhere from 1-2
years. The flavor may fade over time but they'll still keep your lips
moisturized.
Will
your product protect me from the sun?
We do not recommend using our
products as your sole protection against the sun. Our products do not
contain any chemicals that are commonly found in commercial sun block
or sunscreen but do contain Shea Butter, which is known to be a natural
protect against the sun. Our Lip Colors contain Titanium Dioxide which
is a natural occuring SPF.
Will
your product protect me from cold weather and wind?
Many of the ingredients
contained in our products are used to form a protective layer, locking
in moisture and blocking out the effects of the harsh elements the cold
weather produces.
Do
your products contain caffeine?
Perk and Brew lip balms are
inspired by popular coffee and tea house drinks. We use natural coffee
and tea flavors but these do not contain any caffeine.
What
was your inspiration to start the company?
An idea and a passion to take
the term Natural to the next level by adding in some fun, creativity,
design. Lots of hard work and determination along with a set
of values and beliefs that has made Crazy Rumors what it is today!

Shea
Butter is a luxurious ingredient that we love to use in our products.
Occasionally when Shea Butter is heated, small granular pieces may
form.
This does not affect the moisturizing and beneficial
properties of the
Shea Butter.

Since everything we source
is all natural, the
taste, smell, consistency and color may vary slightly from batch to
batch.

Some of our natural flavor
oils are made with
real vanilla and cocoa beans. Though these are all filtered during
production, some small particles may remain in the final product.
